Indria is releasing two beautiful Hi Utsuri into a large growing on pond.

Baby Yamabuki Ogons generally do not turn solid creamy yellow or canary yellow until a few months of age. Their highly metallic beauty already shows.

Indria is about to release some outstanding three year old Izumiya Yamabuki Ogons into a mud grow out pond. And there they go!

Our good friend Jimmy.  Jimmy has logged many hours on here at HKF over the years.

This fine Shiro Bekko was donated by us to the Koiphen.com khv auction. The auction donated all funds to support koi khv research. The proud winner was CP in Key West FL. CP asked us to grow her on for him for another 15-20 months. We agreed. So she gets released back into the big pond.

Some tosai Lemon Hariwake on the LH and some tosai Shiro Utsuri on the RH.  All are bred and born here at HKF.  Shiro Utsuries continue to develop their sumi, (black patterns) for the first 2-4 years making them ever changing until then.

A few of the babies from the above picture of Shiro Utsuries were selected to grow on for a while.  They are now about 1 and 1/2 years old in this photo.

International Visitors,  Thats Martin deJong in the LH photo and in the big photo from LH to RH, Indria, Cathryn and Gene Winstead, Marijke and Martin deJong.  Below are a couple of photos that Martin made of our koi while here.
